I had never heard of Funky Monkey snacks before I was asked to review them and after trying all of the flavors I am a big fan of theirs. My husband and I decided to try a bag the other night and in no time that bag was gone and we had moved on to the other three flavors we had to test out. Needless to say all of the Funky Monkey snacks were gone in one sitting!



By far our favorite was the Carnaval Mix which includes banana, pineapple, papaya, raisins and apple. I was amazed at the intense fruit flavor that each piece contained. This is not your typical run of the mill dried fruit. It tasted like you were eating that piece of fruit at the peak of its ripeness. I was really surprised at how good it was. Funky Monkey snacks are definitely a million times tastier than dried fruit. I love that they contain no added sugar or flavors and still taste soooooo good. So without being too repetitive the flavor is amazing!



They also come in 3 other flavors including Bananamon (banana and cinnamon), Jivealime (pineapple and lime) and Purple Funk (banana and acai). The Jivealime was a little too heavy on the lime flavor for our taste but if you like lime then you will love them. The Bananamon was our second favorite and the Purple Funk was yummy too. Funky Monkey Snacks are gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, certified Kosher-Parve and certified Organic.



Funky Monkey Snacks would make great healthy snacks to pack in your kids lunches (and even though they are healthy they will think they are a treat). I would eat them everyday as a healthy, delicious snack. They are so good you will want to steal them from your kids lunch :)
