ERGObaby Introduces Their New Heart2Heart Infant Insert! ERGObaby Review & Giveaway!!

You may remember the review we did earlier this year of the ERGObaby Sport Carrier. We LOVE this carrier and I can't wait to use it with my son due in December! It is comfortable and easy to use.

In preparing for my son to be born I was very excited to hear the ERGObaby has come out with a new Heart2Heart Infant Insert to be used with their ERGObaby carriers. By using this insert with your ERGObaby carrier it will be the ONLY baby carrier you will ever need! How exciting is that? I love that you can use it from infancy to 40 pounds which eliminates the need to buy more than one baby carrier. It really is the most bang for your buck. Danika is 17 months old and is a peanut weighing only 20 pounds so we have another 20 pounds to go before she outgrows the carrier! Plus we can use it with our newborn when he arrives. I love that it is useful for both my children.

The new Heart2Heart is for use with newborns up to 4-5 months of age. It is made from 100% cotton fabric and 100% cotton filling. It is also machine washable and dryable! This is a must with newborns who are spitting up and drooling like crazy!

I love that this new Heart2Heart Infant Insert has a lot more support and structure than the previous Infant Insert. It is very formed and offers cushions at the back and bottom to give support to the natural curvature in your developing baby's spine. The Infant Heart2Heart Insert encourages a healthy hip and leg position by eliminating weight bearing on the developing sacrum.

The Heart2Heart is very easy to use. You simply put on your baby carrier first. Then, you place your Heart2Heart insert on a flat surface and lay your baby in the center with their bottom above the bottom support cushion. There is an optional closure strap over the top that you may tighten to swaddle the baby or provide more secure support for smaller babies. You will then place the Heart2Heart with your baby in it inside your carrier (while you are wearing it) and secure the carrier close to you.

You can even nurse your baby while in the Heart2Heart carrier! You just need to loosen the shoulder straps and lower your baby into position. The carrier's hood can be flipped over you for privacy.
