TakeAlong A Fun Lunch! Rubbermaid Review & Giveaway!

Rubbermaid is a long standing and trusted brand that we use in many areas of our house. I was recently given the opportunity to try out their new TakeAlongs containers and Blue Ice Fun Shapes.

I am a huge fan of using the TakeAlong containers as an alternative to plastic bags. We have used them to pack fun lunches. They are a great size for sandwiches and packing leftovers. I love the Blue Ice Fun Shapes monkey ice pack they sent. It is such a fun way to keep your child's lunch cold when they go to school.

Of course Danika isn't old enough to go to school yet, but I do love using these containers to pack snacks in the diaper bag when we are on the go. They have worked great for packing graham crackers and work much better than putting them in plastic bags since they usually get crushed in the bags. I also use the Fun Ice pack to keep her sippy cup cold when we are traveling in the car. I love that it freezes overnight. The Blue Ice Fun Shape comes in a monkey, frog or football.

I also love that the containers stack really easily and are dishwasher safe. They are also microwave safe and freezer safe. They don't take up very much room in my cupboard which is a must! They also stack easily when filled due to their ridged lid. They have a lid that clicks into place so you know it is tightly shut and the bases have graduation marks which come in handy for measuring. I love dual purpose products!
