Make Life A Little Easier With Make Ahead Meals For Busy Moms! Review & Giveaway!

Although I am a stay at home mom I still find it difficult to always have a healthy and delicious meal on the table at dinner time. It seems that we get busy and before you know it it is already dinner time and I don't have time to put something good together. I was excited to review the new cookbook from Jane Doiron called Make Ahead Meals For Busy Moms.

The cookbook is filled with yummy recipes for everything from appetizers to main dishes and desserts and much more. We had the Baked Manicotti the other night and it was super yummy. It wasn't difficult to make and I liked that the way the recipe is written you make one for dinner and another to freeze for later at the same time. This is great since I am due to deliver my baby next month. I plan on stocking up the freezer with meals that my hubby can just pop in the oven so we can still eat great food when I'm recovering.

Some of the meals in the book are to make ahead by a day or that morning and others can be frozen for later. I can't wait to make some of the yummy breads that are in the book too. It would be a great idea for holidays too because many of the breads you make 3 loaves. Then you have one to keep, one to give away and one to freeze for later. I also love that the book offers tips on freezing your meals and how to do it the best way to preserve the flavor.

Don't these Mini Cheesecakes look sooooo yummy? There are tons of great recipes in this book and lots of great appetizer recipes too which would be great for holiday entertaining. A bonus is that you can make them ahead of time! This would also be a great gift to give any mama. I think every mom would like to be able to prepare things ahead of time so they can relax later. It is also a big money saver because you aren't going out to eat or ordering take out due to not having a meal ready.
