Last Day of Baby Shower Bash & Big Giveaways Ending Tonight!

Saturday, October 31, 2009 1

Today is the last day of the Baby Shower Bash and it was a huge success! Thank you so much for all of your support and to all of the wonderful companies that made this possible! There are some big giveaways ending tonight so be sure to enter them all and get in your daily tweets! Good Luck!

Baby Shower Bash Giveaway #39! Oh Baby Boutique!

You may remember the review I did this summer of Oh Baby Boutique's cloth swim diapers and swim suits. I LOVED them! The owner and woman that creates it all, Josie, is amazing and has such high quality work. I knew we had to work together again for this Baby Shower Bash.
Josie sent us one of her adorable Big Sister, Little Brother sets to review for Danika and Aiden. She also included coordinating hats which are SO cute. Here is Danika in her adorable Big Sister shirt and hat. Won't this be a special outfit for her to wear when Aiden is born?! I think this is a great way to make the older sibling feel special and like they have an important role.

I love the hat too! Look at the cute detail. Danika loved it too and wore it around the house that day. It is perfect for fall and winter too.

Since Aiden isn't here yet we put his little brother shirt on Danika's doll and put the hat on too. She thought that was pretty cool. Isn't it adorable?! I can see her and her little brother together already :) The attention to detail is also amazing. Each letter is handstitched around with color coordinating thread. It is crazy how much time and attention she puts into these pieces.

Here you can see Aiden's adorable blue hat. I can't wait to put it on him!! This is a great way to bond the siblings too. You can have them done however you need, Big Brother, Little Sister, whatever fits your family. The Big Brother/Sister shirt is only $15 which I think is a great deal for the hand work that goes into making it. You can coordinate with her to do a matching onesie for the baby too!
She also sells lots of other adorable items. She has cloth diaper wipes, shopping cart covers, Birthday sets, and lots more. Go check out her shop and you are sure to find a great baby gift.

Josie also recently opened a second shop, Payley which has some absolutely adorable items. Right now she is having a grand opening sale so go check it out! You can buy any 2 items and get 1 free (equal or lesser value)! Isn't this little newborn cocoon photo prop adorable?! This would make for some great new baby photos.

Payley also sells some to die for hats. Go check them out here! These are great Christmas gifts too with the cold weather coming your kiddo can still be stylish.

These Flap Hats would be perfect for keeping little ears warm all winter. They are only $15! I think that's a steal! Go visit Payley and see all of her adorable designs! Plus, my readers can get 15% off their purchase or Free Shipping-your choice! Just leave her a comment when you checkout that you came over from Minnesota Mama's Must Haves and she will apply your choice of discount! Also for my readers you can get the buy 2 get 1 free deal at either shop! Just tell her in the comments which item you would like free!!

Win! One lucky reader will win their Choice of Hat from either shop!!

This giveaway has ended. Congrats to the winner:

Baby Shower Bash Giveaway #38! Crane Humidifiers!

As both a Registered Nurse and a Mom living in northern Minnesota I know firsthand that humidifiers are an absolute must have. With cold and flu season upon us they are also a must have for kids to help relieve their cold symptoms. Not only can they help assist with making it easier for your child to breath by humidifying the air they also help with dry skin, chapped lips and nose bleeds. Nose bleeds are something my husband suffers from daily in the winter so a humidifier is a must for us to use every day. I pray my babies don't get this from him!

We received the adorable Crane Duck Cool Mist Humidifier for review. With a baby on the way and an 18 month old we were in need of a fun humidifier that was safe to use in their rooms. I love that it is a cool mist humidifier which is what most pediatricians recommend using with young children. The reason for this is due to the risk of injury to a child from the steam of a heated humidifier. I can rest easy knowing that Danika will not be burned by this humidifier.

Another reason these fun animal humidifiers are on my must have list this season is because young kids cannot have most cold and cough medicines. Traditional recommendations from Pediatricians include using a cool mist humidifier, saline solution and suctioning bulbs to help bring your child some relief.

Crane is the first company to bring you a humidifier in a fun design! They will make your little kiddo smile even if they are sick :) They are also very quiet which I love. The most you hear is the water moving in it, there isn't a loud motor noise which is a definite bonus with me. They offer up to 2.1 gallon water output per day and a one gallon water tank runs up to 11 hours. I also love that it has an auto off function when the water is gone and it uses very little power. You can run them with or without a filter to help reduce mineral deposits.

Another feature that I love is the water tank. It is very easy to fill and fits in the sink which is a huge bonus for me. The humidifier my husband and I use is too tall to fit in the sink and must be filled in the bath tub. This is no easy task, especially at seven months pregnant! So needless to say I am very appreciative that it fits easily in the sink, even the bathroom sink. It also has a handle to make carrying the tank back to the base even easier. One other feature I like is the night light that is built in. You can turn it on or off depending on your kiddos preference.

So all in all I LOVE the Crane humidifiers and I think they would make an excellent baby shower gift for any expecting mama. They will also be a must have this cold and flu season for anyone with kids! They come in several different designs to match any kids room. You can buy them on Crane's website as well as Target and other retailers listed here. And don't just take my word for it, I also saw the Duck Humidifier in American Baby. They said it was quiet, easy to fill and easy to clean! They retail for $39.99.

Win! One lucky reader will win a Crane Animal Humidifier! You can choose from:
  • cow
  • duck
  • pig
  • frog
  • panda
  • dragon

Baby Shower Bash Giveaway #37! M.A.H. Creations!

M.A.H. Creations is a wonderful online shop with some adorable items. All of their products are made by Moms At Home (M.A.H.). What does that mean as a customer? That means each and every time you shop you are guaranteed that your product has been hand crafted with love and special attention to detail. Their talented team of moms have a passion for what they do and love to express their creativity in the products they offer. That also means that you will receive excellent customer service and personal attention.
I received the Teach Me Blanket to review. It is so adorable! I love that it is double layered so it is thick and soft. It has two tone khaki and light blue interlock, one side is blue the other khaki. It also has an adorable embroidered blocks and stars and scripture verse. It measures 30 x 30'' so it is the perfect size for covering up your little baby.

We also reviewed the Football Pacy Clip. It is cute and very boyish! There is a wooden football with a clip on the reverse side and a snap on the opposite end to loop through the pacifier. It is made with waterproof glue so you can wash it. They come in a huge variety of boy and girl styles.

Don't these Binky Buddies look cute? They help keep the pacifier in the baby's mouth until they are able to and help mom keep track of all of those pacifiers! No more standing crib side holding the pacy forever!

I think their wall plaques are absolutely adorable too. They would make a great addition to any room, but especially a nursery.

You can buy all of these products and a ton more (think stocking stuffers, gifts, accessories, something for everyone) on their site. They have a ton of gifts that would be perfect for a baby shower gift. With Christmas coming you should also check out their variety of products for the rest of the family!

Win! One reader will win a $20 Gift Certificate and Free Shipping to M.A.H. Creations!

Baby Shower Bash Giveaway #36! PopATot!

The PopATot is another amazing product invented by Evan and Stacy, parents of 5 young active children. It is a product created out of necessity and a lack of anything like it on the market.

The PopATot is basically a portable activity center that your child can sit and play in while you are able to do whatever needs to get done. It is meant to replace the bulky plastic exersaucers that don't fold up or travel well. I love that it is so lightweight, easy to use and portable. At 18 mos Danika isn't too old to sit in it either. Here she is playing and even has a cup holder for her sippy cup! I love that it has two cup holders, one for a sippy and one for a snack cup. Danika's plastic exersaucer doesn't have this and it is a challenge to find anywhere to put a snack and cup.

The PopATot was extremely easy to set up and fold back down. It goes nicely into this carrying case and has a strap so you can carry it on your back. It is also very light and was easy for me to carry on my back even at 7 months pregnant. I love the wide variety of things you can use the PopATot for. It is durable enough to bring outside and works great indoors too!

The PopATot comes with five toy loops sewn onto the top around where the baby sits. It comes with five rings as well so you can hook your baby's toys onto the loops. There are also two safety latches for added stability. These were hard to latch at first but the instructions tell you this is normal and they will loosen with use. I also love the removable bottom which protects baby's feet from the ground and catches crumbs. Being removable makes it easy to clean too. I also love that it easily fits through doorways and goes from the kitchen to the laundry room with very little effort. This is definitely not the case with our traditional plastic exersaucer.

Here is the PopATot folded up before it goes into the bag. It works similar to camping chairs you may have seen. I don't know why no one has come up with one sooner!

So when I have showed this awesome product to some of my mom friends they have asked where you would use it. Well there are really a ton of uses for it! It would be great for a smaller home where you don't want to leave an exersaucer set up 24/7 and don't have space to store one. You can simply fold it up when you are not using it.

It is also extremely handy for traveling. There are so many places you go where it would be nice to put your baby down to play, but you have no where safe to do it. The PopATot is ideal for travel. This also means with the holidays coming and visits to relatives houses you can take it with you and have a safe place to put your baby while you visit.

If you are traveling by plane it is also the only activity center you could actually use in the airport and fold up and bring on the plane. Talk about convenient! It also fits into small trunks and doesn't take up much room.

You can also use it outdoors at soccer and football games. Take it with you to hockey practice and let your little one be entertained. It is also great to bring to Grandma's house. Many grandparents don't have baby gear and this is very easy to bring with and have a place for Grandma to put your baby while she watches him or her.

Okay so if this hasn't given you enough inspiration as to what to do with it and how to use it, then I don't know what will! It is an extremely versatile product and we really like it. This would make an excellent baby shower gift because it is unique and so useful! It would also make a great Christmas present as an alternative to yet another toy for the baby.

You can buy the PopATot on their site as well as locations listed here. The PopATot sells for $49.99. You can also buy umbrellas and toys to go with it. Check it all out on their site.

Win! One reader will win their own PopATot!

Baby Shower Bash Giveaway #35! Snugfits!

Snugfits is another mom started company. Yes I love mom started companies! It was started out of Sara's frustration with not being able to find cute, funny onesies to put on her baby. She couldn't find the quality construction and design she was looking for so she set out to make her own and Snugfits was born.
We received the "I wasn't born yesterday" onesie and knit pants for review. They are so cute and I love that they have pants to match. I also love that you can customize it how you want. You can choose from a snapsuit, lap tee or long sleeve lap tee. We chose the long sleeve lap tee since it will be winter and I don't want to hide a short sleeve top under another shirt. You can also choose from eight different colors and four different ink colors! It is fun to make it exactly how you want it. It comes in sizes from 0-3 mos to 6-12 mos. You can buy the top for $20 on their site. This would make an adorable and unique baby shower gift.

Snugfits has sooooooooooo many different sayings. They are fun to read through! We had a sign in Danika's room with this saying on it, You wake me, You take me! I love the high quality of Snugfits onesies too. I have run them through the wash and they came out just as soft and adorable. These are boutique quality garments.

This is one thing I am dreading about when the baby comes. I have been wonderfully able to sleep through the night for awhile now and that will soon become a thing of the past. Why not make light of it with this adorable onesie? :)

My hubby would appreciate this one for our little man. He sure could use a little helper! Isn't is adorable?! I also love that Snugfits doesn't use any harmful stain resistant or flame retardant chemicals.

You can buy all of Snugfits adorable onesies and more on their site. I highly recommend visiting them and reading through their funny sayings. You are sure to find more than one that will fit perfectly with what you are looking for! They would make great baby shower gifts. You are sure to get a laugh at the shower!

Win! One reader will win a tee or onesie of their choice AND a pair of pants!

This giveaway has ended. Congrats to the winner:
