Barefoot Books Review & Giveaway!! Plus a great sale!

We have been working with Danika on learning her numbers, alphabet, shapes and colors lately. She is very eager to learn and can already count to 4. Not bad for less than two years old I was absolutely delighted to be sent some books from Barefoot Books to review. Not only are they colorful and fun to read but they are educational and Danika loves them. I love how they are helping her learn!

A little background on the company:

We received Cleo’s Counting Book and this one is Danika’s favorite. She is especially interested in learning to count and loves reading this book over and over and over again! I love the way it is written and that it also teaches them to count backward.

The illustrations are adorable and I love how the numbers are lined up on the bottom under the flowers so your child can count the flowers as they go. They can then count backward once they have mastered counting forward so the book grows with your child!

I just love how adorable the illustrations are, like the one above. Danika loves counting the chicks together and it really is helping her learn her numbers. I also love that they are board books so Danika can’t destroy them. Although she is almost two her paperback books inevitably end up bent or torn and I like knowing these books will not have the same fate. This book is appropriate for ages 1-4.

The second book we received for review was Cleo’s Alphabet Book. I was excited to get this book as well because we have been working on teaching Danika her letters and how to recite the alphabet. The book is written with great rhyming text and has kids guessing which object goes with each letter. It is a great interactive book. It is also appropriate for ages 1-4 and comes as a board book.

The last book we received was Cleo’s Color Book. I love the rhyming text in this book as well. It teaches kids their colors and even teaches simple color mixing. Danika loves to read this one and recite her colors. It is also for ages 1-4 and comes as a board book.

All three of these wonderful books regularly retail for $6.99 each BUT they are having an awesome Winter Sale and they are only $3.99 each through January 31st! I think this is a steal of a deal for the high quality books you are getting. They would make great baby or birthday gifts too. And all of you Grandmas out there-you definitely need to get some of these great books to have at your house for when those grandkids come to visit! They will quickly become favorites!
