Bringing Home Baby Event! My Baby Nest Review & Giveaway!

I am a big fan of baby wearing and I recently had the opportunity to try the Baby Nest Carrier from My Baby Nest. For those of you that are intimidated by the long piece of fabric used with most wraps, this "wrapless wrap" is for you. Here is Aiden all snuggled up in the Baby Nest Carrier at just a week old. It works perfectly for newborns. I was really impressed with how well it snuggled him in and supported him in all of the right spots. Many baby carriers don't work well with newborns but the Baby Nest Carrier was perfect! I also love that it will grow and adapt as he gets bigger. It can be used from birth to 35 pounds. This carrier works for both Aiden and Danika! I am actually wearing Aiden in it right now as I type! It works great for me to be able to blog while still holding him close and having my hands free!

So you may be wondering how this is a "wrapless wrap" because it certainly looks like a traditional wrap and functions like one too. Their system seemed a little complicated to me at first but after a few times wearing it I was able to easily put it on without looking at the directions. It is two loops of fabric that you put on and wear depending on what position you are using and then you put on the fabric belt around baby. I also love that it comes with a carrying pouch so you can throw it in the diaper bag when you go out.

With the Baby Nest Carrier you can carry your baby in 5 different positions; nursing/newborn, tummy to tummy, forward facing, hip and back positions. It is made of ultra soft cotton that is hypoallergenic and uses nontoxic dyes. I like the amount of stretch in the fabric too. It offers enough support for baby while still being flexible and comfortable to wear. It evenly distributes the baby's weight so you don't end up with sore shoulders and back after wearing it.

It is great for Dad's too! It comes in 6 colors and 3 different sizes. Not only does it work great for newborns on up, it is also recommended for preemies! The support belt also has a built in pocket for storing things while baby wearing. I also love that it is machine washable and dryer safe because you know that inevitably your baby will spit up on it!
