The Home and Office mat comes fully equipped with the Powercube Universal Receiver-the ultimate adapter solution that can charge 1,000s of devices including Kindles, eReaders, digital Kodak cameras, Bluetooth headsets, handheld game players, many many cell phone brands and models and more. The Powercube replaces all of those individual power adapters and allows you to charge them all with a single solution.

Each Powermat includes 8 tips to charge tons of different devices. When my husband heard they had Case Receiver for the iPhone (which I have) he was jealous that they didn't make one for his phone yet. The Case Receiver allows you to just place your phone on the mat and charge it without connecting the powercube or tips to it. It is so cool! You just plop it on the Powermat and the magnetic attraction pulls it on and it sounds to let you know it is correctly placed. There is also a small light at each of the 3 places on the mat that lights up to let you know the device is correctly placed and charging. They carry a number of other receivers as well including Blackberry and Nintendo DS as well as others.

A magnetic attraction between every Receiver and each access point on every Mat assures that alignment is precise and the most efficient charging will occur. This is one of the keys to the Powermat system’s ability to charge your devices as fast or faster than the original power adaptor.

For those of you on the go there is also a Portable Powermat which is very cool. It works the same as the Home and Office Mat but it folds up small and fits into the case it comes with so it is perfect for traveling.

Powermat was developed to promote convenience among business travelers, families, students, office workers and anyone who utilizes multiple electronic devices. Powermat power supplies are universal and work from 100-240VAC.

Communication between the Mat and the Receiver (via RFID) allows the mat to deliver an exact amount of power for the proper length of time so that the transfer of power is safe and efficient and no energy is wasted. When a device reaches full charge, power is shut off to that device to save energy. Once full power is achieved and the Auto Shut Off has occurred to save energy, the system will monitor the status of the battery in your device. If the battery is used, the system will again initiate charging and return the battery to a full charge.
