This past weekend we celebrated Aiden’s 2nd Birthday with a Disney Cars themed party. I made this super easy cake for him which he loved. I just used the Giant Cupcake pan and then added Cars vehicles to make it fit with our theme.
Once Aiden had decided he wanted a Cars party I headed over to my absolute favorite party decor site, Birthday Express. They’ve got just about everything and of course they had Cars! We received the Disney Cars 2 Deluxe Party Pack which is packed with all the decor you need for an amazing party. We set up the tablecloth and centerpieces on the cake/gift table and it sure looked good!
One of my favorite things from Birthday Express is their personalized party banners. We got a Cars themed banner that said “Happy Birthday Aiden”. He thought it was SO cool! It really brought our theme together too. They start at just $15.99 so they are also very affordable. They are printed on quality vinyl in HD! The quality is unbeatable especially for the price! They also have photo banners which look very cool. The banner has metal grommets for easy hanging as well.
One thing that was a huge hit with the kids (and the adults watching) was the Cars 2 pull string pinata! If you haven’t seen the pull string pinatas yet they are great! They are especially perfect for little ones. Each child chooses a string and pulls it. Only one string opens the pinata. Ours worked great and the suspense was fun. The magic string wasn’t chosen until there were only three or four strings left so the anticipation lasted a long time.
The kids absolutely loved this! I fit a ton of candy in the pinata and they all had a blast picking it up. I gave them each brown bags to decorate beforehand and they used them to pick up their candy. Even the adults enjoyed this one! It was so fun to watch.
