I have to admit that right now the holidays are in full swing at my house and the hustle and bustle of the season has taken hold. With so much going on it is important to remember to stop and enjoy those little moments and create memories with your family. Hallmark is known to help you do just that and this year they’ve come out with a really fun way to have some down time with your kids. Jingle the Husky Pup Interactive Storybook and Story Buddy are the latest addition to their holiday line up and they are SO cool! Have you seen the commercials yet? I was intrigued to see that Jingle the Pup responds when you read the story but also a little skeptical to how well it worked. Well we got one to test out!

Danika immediately loved Jingle and she’s been sleeping with him every night since his arrival at our house. We had to test out the story right away. You need to press Jingle’s ear to activate him and then you read the story. It’s important that the kids stay quiet and you are in a quiet place so Jingle can “hear” you reading the story. When you read highlighted sentences from the story he responds! It is really cool. The kids totally loved it and were more than happy to sit quietly so they could hear Jingle participate in the story. I thought it was amazing

We didn’t want to leave my hubby out either He got this Adrian Peterson Keepsake Ornament from our Minnesota Vikings. He looks great hanging on our tree and my hubby was happy to be included in the holiday excitement. He doesn’t get his own ornaments too often and I think we’ll need to make it a new tradition so the boys get some on the tree too! I love having a tree full of ornaments that bring back memories of year’s past. Hallmark has a whole line up of ornaments to choose from. I thought it was cute that one Dad in our kid’s class at school shared that every year whatever it is he wants and can’t have (a sports car, a bulldog, …) his wife buys him an ornament for it. Cute idea! If your hubby has something on his list that he isn’t gonna get then get him one in ornament form!
