Step2 Naturally Playful Woodland Climber Packs Big Fun For Little Ones!!

Our weather here in Minnesota has been so “silly” as Danika likes to say. One day we had a record high of 90 degrees and we were running through the sprinkler and the next we were pulling in my tomato plants because it was going to frost! One thing that isn’t predictable in Minnesota is the weather! My kids LOVE playing outside and now that we have ten beautiful acres for them to play on it’s fun getting them some outdoor toys to inspire their little imaginations and get their wheels turning. We are loving the Step2 Naturally Playful Woodland Climber!

My husband snuck out of the house one day and put this together to surprise me and the kids. He said the assembly was really easy and it went together quickly. This is certainly true as I didn’t even know he was doing it and by the time I went outside it was already done! The kids were thrilled to go play on it!

The slide is the perfect size for my 2 and 4 year olds to slide down without any help from Mom and Dad. Aiden (my 2 year old) was especially enjoying his independence in being able to slide down all by himself!

My little rag muffins were having a blast in their rubber boots and Winter coats!

I love this face Aiden is making! He is saying “Arrr Matey!” because he is a pirate driving his ship! I love the imaginative play that the Naturally Playful Woodland Climber has inspired in my kids.

Another thing I love about it is that it is the perfect size for my kids despite their age difference and difference in abilities. It appealed to both of them equally but in different ways.

The ladder was the perfect height for climbing all by himself!

For older kids who have already mastered the ladder they can climb up the rock wall and into the window on the side! How fun is that?!

Danika loves crawling through the window!

And for little brothers who feel the need to keep up with their big sister…

He proved that it’s not too tough for him either!
However the rock wall on the opposite side is for big kids only as Danika so kindly showed her brother that she could do it and he couldn’t. It has given him a goal to work towards ;)

He loves hiding out in the little fort underneath! This can also be filled with sand for more play time fun! I love the appeal of the neutral colors too. It looks great in your yard and doesn’t scream “Hey I’m a kids toy!”. If you live in town or in a housing neighborhood with rules about outdoor toys then this is the one for you as it blends in without looking tacky in  your yard.

My kids have had hours of fun on the Naturally Playful Woodland Climber and it’s a great, compact yard toy. If you don’t have a sprawling 10 acres like we do then it’s no problem! This backyard toy will easily fit in a yard in town as well. The compact design and bang for your buck are great. You are getting a climbing wall, slide/ladder, 2 steering wheels, a space underneath for a fort or sand box, all in one compact toy! This is a great buy and thanks to the multiple activities and difficulty levels it is fun for years to come and can be enjoyed by all of your kids!

You can get the Naturally Playful Woodland Climber at Step2 or a retailer near you! Check out the Step2 Naturally Playful Woodland Climber in action! My kiddos love it :)

  1. That looks so fun! I love Step 2 products… yet another good one by them.

  2. Im wondering how tall your little ones are – my youngest who is now 3, is as tall as some 5 yr olds! So Im wondering how she would fare on this toy. My kids have always been too tall for the toy kitchens etc. :-(
(BTW Im clgareis and attempting to earn entries in the UMA giveaway BUT my google is choosing my Bakers dozen for my profile, though IM signed in under clgareis – go figure!)

  3. We're a long way off from getting one of these, but I like the pictures! I always wonder if these look the same in person as they do on their site!

  4. How fun! I just wonder how you have the patience to get all three of them bundled up to play! I can barely get my one out the door without one of us losing it ;)
